Future Housing
Adapting housing unit to future requirements

The world we’re living in is turning in an unpredictable place more and more each day. Nobody can even imagine what’s going to happen tomorrow, because many scientists and researchers are working today on the ideas of the future behind the doors of their labs. While we notice the importance of information and it’s free-roaming, we stop and look into the components that make our life, and we can see that the common denominator of every day of our life is: movement. We are never in the same place and we are always in the move. Our work-place has become a flexible one, but what I think that always remains constant is the place where we shelter our heads in the night. Main physical functions as sleep are the part when we are at our weakest, in the state of the unconscious, without the chance of self-defense. That’s why, even if you spend all of your days out of the house, there’ll still be a room, space (house, apartment) where you’d rather spend the night. Four walls form a space, but memories form a home. This diploma thesis is rather challenging because it is required a solution about the function of housing soon, with a vision based on the permanent technological developments. Based on the research is generated a trajectory of the development of housing till today, and this track has based the solution for the near future, which, it continues to develop in these enormous rhythms, is expected to be very surprising. With a focus on the economic housing of the future, this thesis sets some problems with logical solutions that rationalize the user’s life.
